Acupressure is based on one the most ancient principles of healing - that simply touching a specific point on the body will release stress and improve health in the body. After conducting a small research project, I found that some known points can help with Hot flashes and Night Sweats. During the 15 minute session, we will discuss your hot flashes/night sweats including intensity, frequency, and anything being done currently to help. We will also discuss medical history as with any massage session. I will then determine an acupressure point that may help, perform the point, teach you how to perform the point, and give you a home care routine to follow. We will then discuss the possible outcomes and what the plan is for future sessions.
